On August 16, 2016, Dr. Parsons took ownership of Valley Pediatric Dentistry and, along with her team, will be providing Northern Nevada youth with exceptional pediatric dental care. Dr. Parsons is a strong proponent of good dental health and believes that the biggest obstacles for patients are appropriate treatment options and education on the importance of oral hygiene and its long-term effect on health. She grew up in Virginia City and has seen first hand the challenges associated with rural living and accessing dental care due to time constraints and distance to service providers. She feels that by properly engaging the entire family with fun, effective care and prevention strategies, parents and their children will be equipped to combat the daily distractions and challenges of dental care.
